Bears Run B&B "Best in Alaska"
No rooms available through the 2007 season. Please check back in September.
Bob and Val Horner are your hosts at Bears Run B&B. It is a home-stay bed and breakfast located in the Mendenhall Valley of Juneau, Alaska's capital city. This B&B is a custom built home surrounded by an acre of tall Sitka spruce trees and wild blueberry bushes. Only 14 miles from downtown Juneau, 4 miles from the airport, and 5 miles from the ferry terminal, it is convenient for the vacationer and business traveler.
Located off the Loop Road, Bears Run B&B is near the University and student housing, shopping center, Mendenhall Glacier, and Tongass National Forest. The city bus stops nearby. There is plenty of off street parking should you arrive with your own car. There is space for RV parking (without hook-up).
Bears Run is open year-around. Children are welcome. (Caution: We do have a large natural pond adjoining the property. This might be a concern for small children.) Traveling with a pet? Call ahead to make arrangements.
Bears Run is a non-smoking B&B. No exceptions.
We look forward to a visit from you! For reservations or information, call (907) 790-2181 or e-mail Val & Bob Horner.
(Juneau is in the Alaska time zone, which is one hour earlier than Pacific.)
